Dr. Anita Lanier, OMD is licensed by the Nevada State Board of Oriental Medicine and is a Nationally Certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of California. She began her career as an educator, teaching middle school, and decided to study first massage and then acupuncture, when she saw the tremendous difference, these modalities made in her own life. She began working as a massage therapist in 1996 and earned a Diplomate in Asian Bodywork Therapy (NCCAOM) in 2005. In 2012 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine program at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA. Dr. Lanier teaches at Wongu University of Oriental Medicine in Las Vegas. In March 2023 Dr. Lanier completed Level II training in Neuro-acupuncture with the Neuro-Acupuncture Institute. Dr. Lanier lives in Boulder City, Nevada, with her husband, artist Lee Lanier. They are co-founders of the Dam Short Film Festival, now in …its 21st year.
Dr. Lanier specializes in neuro-acupuncture, injury and surgery recovery, pain relief, and stress and aging-related conditions. Dr. Lanier does not offer fertility treatments or pediatric services at this time but can provide referrals.
