Chelsea Edwards, MS, RDN, CEDS-S, LD/CD is a registered dietitian nutritionist who specializes in eating disorders and is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), which signifies excellence in the treatment of eating disorders. Chelsea is the owner of Huntsville Nutrition Collective LLC, and her goal is to provide quality nutrition therapy services to the greater Huntsville area.When you have a healthy relationship with food, it can be a great source of pleasure and enjoyment. Chelsea’s goal is to help others make peace with food. Chelsea believes in an individualized, all foods fit approach to nutrition. Chelsea works to help others incorporate body trust and intuitive eating into their lives, as well as learn to listen to their body’s hunger and fullness signals.Chelsea uses approaches such as mindful and intuitive eating and believes in a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach to nutrition and …wellbeing. Chelsea also has special training in Family Based Therapy (FBT) for adolescents with eating disorders.Chelsea also teaches nutrition courses through The University of Alabama at Huntsville (UAH), where she developed two courses, Contemporary Nutrition (KIN 200) and Nutrition in health and disease (KIN 400), as part of the health and nutrition minor in the Kinesiology department.Chelsea has a bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from the University of Alabama, and a Master’s degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Alabama.
