Dean Dorfman, D.P.M., P.A. is a leading podiatric physician and surgeon in Florida with 34 years of experience and board certification in Foot Surgery (Diplomate) with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Dorfman’s postsecondary education began at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Albany, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He then attended medical school at William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1988. His postgraduate training included a surgical residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN, and an internship at the University of Chicago’s Billings Medical Center and Cook County Medical Center.
In 1989, Dr. Dorfman opened East Ocean Podiatry and has been serving the community here ever since. He is a fellow of both the American College of Foot Surgeons as well as the Council of Nail Disorders. He is …board-certified (Diplomate) with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Stem Cell Physicians. He is affiliated with several hospitals in the region including Broward Health North, Parkcreek Surgical Center, and Boca Raton Outpatient Laser Surgical Center.
