A native of Missouri, Dr. Rowland graduated from Bethany College with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. He received his medical education from the KC University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Rowland completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas and a Sports Medicine fellowship at St. Vincent Health System in Erie, PA.Dr. Rowland is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and maintains a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.During his career he has worked with numerous amateur athletes at the high school and university level, as well as pro cycling teams and an arena football team. He currently works with middle school, high school and college athletes in the greater Kansas City area.Dr. Rowland currently owns Affinity Sports Medicine and Orthobiologics which specializes in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine. He specializes in non-surgical treatments, helping active adults remain healthy, active and …pain-free.Dr. Rowland is actively involved in the Interventional Orthopedic Foundation and the American Academy/Association of Orthopedic Medicine. He continues to participate in on-going training in orthobiologic medicine.
