Dr. Taher received a Bachelors Degree from Nizam College, Hyderabad, India and his Medical Doctorate Degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He went on to complete his internship from 1967 – 1968 at Gandhi Hospital in India and his rotating internship from 1970 – 1971 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Monies, Iowa. He completed his Residency at Raymond Blank Memorial Hospital for Children, Des Moines, Iowa.
Dr. Taher joined the Faculty as an Associate in Pediatrics at Kern Medical Center in 1991. He is a Pediatric Hematology and Oncology specialist.
Dr. Taher completed a post -doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology from 1973 – 1976 at the University of Wisconsin Childrens Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin.
