Dr. AJ Patel attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He received his dental degree from the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He continued on in Richmond to complete his post-doctoral training in pediatrics.
Dr. Patel is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and the Northern VA Dental Society.Â
Dr. Patel caters to the dental needs of infants, children and young adults. He provides preventive dental care as well as restorative treatment with the option of nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation.
