Dr. Coppel has lived in Las Vegas since 2006. Originally born in Mexico,
he moved with his family to the United States and lived in Tucson, Arizona.
Dr. Coppel graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. He earned his medical
degree in 1996 from the University of Arizona School of Medicine. He then
completed a one year medical internship at St. Francis Hospital in
Evanston, Illinois. He then completed his residency in Anesthesiology and
Critical Care at The University of Chicago Hospitals in 2005. He finished
his extensive training by sub-specializing in the field of pain medicine by
completing a pain management fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in
Baltimore, Maryland in 2006.
Dr. Coppel is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in both Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology with Critical Care.
Since establishing his practice in Las Vegas in 2006, Dr. Coppel has proudly …become one of the city’s premier pain management physicians utilizing
a multidisciplinary approach.
In Novemer, 2009, Dr. Coppel opened his own practice and continues to utilize his extensive training in managing each of his patient’s medical
conditions thoroughly.
Dr. Coppel remains very active in a variety of community outreach programs that have helped provide medical care to underserved areas. Due to
the fact that he is fluent in Spanish, he has been particularly interested in reaching out to the Hispanic community.
