Albert Begas, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist at theEugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health,at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He specializes in treating thoracic and breast cancers.
Joining Lynn Cancer Institute in 1987, Dr. Begas helped start theinstitute’s oncology team and recruited a team of 18 oncologists.
In addition to patient care, he is also an affiliate assistant professor of clinical biomedical sciences at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Begas’ care philosophy is to treat patients how he would like to be treated. He seeks to earn trust to be an effective advocate.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Begas enjoys exercising and playing golf.
