Dr. Yakovlev is a board certified pain management specialist located in the Fox Valley Area. He is a graduate of both Anesthesia Residency and Interventional Pain Fellowship programs at SUNY in Syracuse, New York. In addition, he has surgical training in both Chicago, IL and Russia.He is the founder and Medical Director of Comprehensive Pain Management of the Fox Valley S.C. Previously, Dr. Yakovlev was the Chairman of the Interventional Pain Management Department at Marshfield Clinic, in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He developed a well respected multi-disciplinary pain management program. He is a highly regarded physician in the field of pain medicine. Dr. Yakovlev accepts new patients with many pain conditions as well as movement disorders including cerebral palsy, spasticity associated with spinal cord and brain injury. In addition, he is highly skilled in the most advanced interventional pain procedures, chiefly techniques such as neuromodulation and intrathecal pumps.
