Dr. Alison Tate, MD

Alison Tate, MD, FACOG, is a fellowship trained board-certified specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery in South Denver and surrounding communities. Dr. Tate has over 15 years of experience and specializes in female pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urinary and bowel control issues, voiding problems, recurrent UTIs, bladder pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction. She performs many types of urogynecologic surgeries, including robotic/laparoscopic and vaginal approach procedures. Dr. Tate, a former Peace Corps volunteer, is fluent in Spanish and sees female patients 18 and older. Dr. Tate earned her medical degree at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. She graduated from Yale School of Medicine ObGyn residency. She then completed a three-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Los Angeles County Harbor UCLA Medical Center. In addition to her medical/surgical practice, Dr. Tate has been raising four sons, …studying foreign languages, traveling, and attending rock concerts many of which involve watching her boys play live music.
