Dr. Allan Frederick Seibert, MD

Allan F. Seibert, IV, MD, FCCP, FACP is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Seibert completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama and attended medical school at the University of South Alabama, where he also completed his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine, and is a Fellow with the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Thoracic Society. Dr. Seibert has served as the Chair of the Providence Hospital Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and is currently a member of the Providence Hospital Internal Review Board, where he has served for more than 14 years. He joined Pulmonary Associates in 2002. Dr. Seibert was previously a Clinician-Scientist for the American Heart Association, where his primary areas of basic investigation were acute lung injury and pulmonary vascular disease. Most of Dr. …Seibert’s clinical investigations are now focused on therapy for sepsis, acute lung injury, nosocomial pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and venous thromboembolic disease. He is currently the principal investigator for more than 9 clinical studies.
