Dr. Stopa received his medical degree from Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora in Brazil. He is board certified in Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Stopa currently serves as Director of Outpatient Pediatric Cardiology at Childrens Hospital in New Orleans, and is Associate Professor in Pediatrics at LSU School of Medicines Department of Medicine in New Orleans. Thibodaux Regional is pleased to bring this much-needed service to the area through collaborative efforts with Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
