Dr. Castillo was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Alamo Heights High School and completed her undergraduate studies at Angelo State University in Biology.
Dr. Castillo continued her undergraduate education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she received her degree in Dental Laboratory Sciences. After this, she entered her Master’s in Public Health at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
During her graduate externship, she worked directly with the Health Department on public health programs focused on improving access to dental care within the community.
Dr. Castillo’s philosophy is to treat patients as her family members and provide them with a positive dental experience. She emphasizes oral health instruction and the ability to allow her patients to take an active role in their oral health.
Dr. Castillo is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the San Antonio …District Dental Society (SADDS).
She is ecstatic to be back in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Castillo enjoys staying active within her church community and spending time with her husband and two children.
