Dr. Amanda Muench Termuhlen, MD

Dr. Termuhlen is medical director of the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center. She leads a team of pediatric hematology/oncology experts, providing guidance and ensuring a high level of quality is delivered for the coordinated inpatient and outpatient units of the pediatric hematology/oncology programs at Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center (JJCCC). Dr. Termuhlen is a renowned pediatric hematologist-oncologist who is widely published in peer-reviewed journals. Her clinical research has focused on clinical trials for lymphoma, experimental therapeutics and studies for the late effects of cancer treatment. She leads and expands all pediatric cancer research programs at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach, including the established Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Termuhlen received her medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Cincinnati.
