Dr. Ana R. Stankovic, MD

Dr. Ana Stankovic earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Brown University in Providence, RI. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown, University and conducted her fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Stankovic is Board Certified in Health Care Quality and Management (American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians), Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine), Certified Clinical Hypertension Specialist (American Society of Hypertension), and Certified Laboratory Director for moderately complex laboratory by COLA. She is a Fellow of the American Institute for Health care Quality.
Dr Stankovic’s clinical and professional interests include chronic kidney disease, hypertension, gout, bone and mineral disorders, diabetic nephropathy, and electrolyte disorders. Other interests include …pharmaceutical and legal medicine, medical management and administration, and healthcare quality and patient safety.
In addition to attending to her busy practice, Dr. Stankovic serves as Vice Chief of Staff and Chair of the Peer Review Committee at Parkland Medical Center, Medical Director of Peritoneal Dialysis at DaVita Derry Dialysis Clinic, and Medical Director of Nephrology at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.
The author of publications on topics related to her areas of expertise, Dr. Stankovic is a member of several medical societies including the American College of Physicians (ACP), American Society of Hypertension (ASH), American Board of Quality Assurance and utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP), and American College of Physician Executives (ACPE). She serves on ACP National Young Physician Council (NH Chapter Chair) and ACP New Hampshire Governor’s Advisory Council. She is the recipient of academic and patient-centered awards.
