Originally from the Bronx in New York, Dr. Kassman, warmly known as Dr. Kaz, has lived in Tucson for over 30 years. Working in the field of orthodontics allows Dr. Kassman to help people gain confidence and change their lives by improving their smile. Knowing that he has played a role in shaping the smiles of his patients is his favorite part of the job. “I enjoy working with kids and being able to relate to them on their level. It keeps me young! Basically, I get to have a great time while earning a living, and there is really nothing more I could ask for.” Dr. Kassman, received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University’s School of Dental Medicine, and completed his general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Northport, NY. Continuing his education, Dr. Kassman earned his Certificate in Orthodontics from Columbia University. His dedication to the profession of orthodontics drives …Dr. Kassman to continue his education, taking courses to improve his professional skills and keep up with new techniques and technological advances that make orthodontics more efficient and effective. In addition, Dr. Kassman takes courses in behavioral management to help him better understand his patients, and communicate with each one as an individual. His belief that it is our responsibility to always continue to learn and educate ourselves, Dr. Kassman offers in-office seminars to local dentists and hygienists about the importance of orthodontic treatment.
