Dr. Andrew R. Chapokas, D.M.D., M.S.D.
Dr. Chapokas is a warm and friendly specialist in dentistry educated to treat many extremely complex disorders involving gum disease, tooth decay and oral pathology. Dr. Chapokas earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania as one of the top five in his class. In turn, he was selected to be president of the Matthew Cryer Honors Society.
Afterwards, he continued his specialty education at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Chapokas is both a periodontist and prosthodontist. He is board certified in both periodontics and prosthodontics specialties. In other words, he is a specialist in treating gum disease, placing dental implants, bone grafting, dentures, veneers, crowns and bridges, esthetic dentistry and much more.
Dr. Chapokas is a member of the American Board of Periodontology, American Board of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, American Academy of Periodontology, American …College of Prosthodontics, California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Chapokas’ focus is on full-mouth, complex, surgical and reconstructive dentistry.
