Dr. Andrey Espinoza, MD

Dr. Espinoza is an interventional cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center and currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. After completing residency training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Espinoza completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly MCP/Hahnemann University Hospitals) in Philadelphia. He was elected as Chief Cardiology Fellow during his training and also served as the elected Fellow Representative to the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine and Interventional Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention.
Dr. Espinoza is a specialist in the treatment of Peripheral and Carotid arterial disease. He has authored a number of scientific papers and is the co-author of the recently published …text Carotid Artery Intervention: Fundamental Principles and Techniques. Dr. Espinoza is also involved in academic medicine and has participated in enrolling a number of patients in national research registries and ongoing clinical trials. He performed the first carotid stenting procedure in a community hospital in the State of New Jersey, and is currently the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
