Dr. Anthony J. Costa, MD

Anthony J Costa, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult joint replacement, with a focus on hip and knee replacement and lower extremity trauma. Dr. Costa utilizes Mako technology for robotic-assisted total and partial knee replacements. He is the director of the Total Joint Program at Riverview Medical Center and performs more than 700 joint replacements per year. Dr. Costa also lectures in the community about living with arthritis, as well as teaching lectures for other orthopedic surgeons. His operating room is designated as a destination site for doctors to visit and learn about knee and hip replacement surgery at Riverview Medical Center.
