Anthony C Pozun, DO, FACC has been providing comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients in the greater Phoenix area for over 15 years. Dr. Pozun completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. He then completed both his cardiology and interventional fellowship training programs in 2005/2006 at Banner University Medical Center (Good Samaritan) / Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center through the University of Arizona College of Medicine.He is board-certified in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of peripheral vascular disease, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, venous insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias, and the diagnosis and proper treatment of syncope. His areas of special interest include treatment of critical limb ischemia and amputation prevention, complex coronary artery interventions, and the …treatment of venous ulcers. Dr. Pozun has performed over 5000 coronary and peripheral vascular procedures throughout his career, many of these being performed via trans-radial and trans-pedal approaches. Dr. Pozun understands the importance of establishing excellent and open communication with every individual he encounters. More importantly, is the level of trust that is created between him and his patients.
