After achieving a BS in biology with a minor in chemistry at Texas Tech University, Dr. Ashly Cothern graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry. A member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Association of Women Dentists and Dallas County Dental Society, Dr. Cothern is a deeply embedded professional in the dentistry community, both locally and nationally.
As native Texans, Dr. Cothern and her husband, Mike, established their home and family in Dallas. The Cotherns have two daughters, a son, and another one on the way but their family began with their yellow lab, Gus. Dr. Cothern not only talks the talk in regards to health and wellness, but she also walks the walk by participating in triathlons and running as a hobby. She and her family attend Watermark Community Church where they are involved in activities and community support programs.
