Dr. Barbara Ellen Swan, MD

Dr. Swan is a specialist in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a focus on trauma, geriatric pain management, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. She is the Director, Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Allegheny General Hospital and former Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services at Suburban General Hospital. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Swan completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She was also Chief Resident in the Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Department. Dr. Swan has been a member of ChoiceCare Physicians, P.C. group practice since April 2008 and is a staff attending at Allegheny General Hospital and is with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
