Dr. Barry Alan Ripps, MD

Barry A. Ripps, MD is a native of Mobile, Alabama and completed undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in the school of engineering with honors, cum laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility were accomplished at the University of Tennessee %u2013 Memphis.
Dr. Ripps is Director for the Reproductive Endocrinology Division of Florida State University College of Medicine and has been a faculty member and clinical researcher with the Florida%u2019s medical educational system since 1994. He has directed the Resident in Training Research Program since 2007.
Dr. Ripps is Medical Director for New Leaders In Fertility & Endocrinology. Known as %u201CNew LIFE,%u201D the private practice offers state-of-the-art reproductive services and reproduction-saving surgery to the Gulf Coast.
