Dr. Meares is another native North Carolinian and a diehard Tarheel. After earning a degree in Business Administration from UNC-CH, he briefly worked in the business field before returning to Chapel Hill for his medical degree. Dr. Meares completed his residency in Greenville, S.C. before returning to the Tarheel State to join Raleigh Children and Adolescents Medicine. He and his wife, Laurie, have four children and are members of Bayleaf Baptist Church. Dr. Meares enjoys time with his family and working on home improvement projects.
