    Dr. Coobs, University of Minnesota graduate, is an orthopaedic expert. Fellowships at Washington University and Skyline Medical Center honed his skills in hip surgery and traumatology. A 2008 Alpha Omega Alpha inductee, he earned Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation awards. As an assistant professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, he’s acclaimed by Beckers Orthopaedic Review. A member of AOA, AAHKS, AAOS, he directs Adult Reconstructive Surgery fellowship program and contributes to medical literature. Beyond work, he enjoys outdoors and family time.
