The first day I rotated into the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford, I knew I had found my calling. I loved the science, technology, and most of all, finding a meaningful way to help patients facing cancer. Establishing a cancer care center on the Kitsap Peninsula has been a dream of mine for many years because I could see every day while working in Seattle how difficult it was to travel for care when you are ill and fatigued. We have worked hard, including earning our ACR accrediation in 2013, to make Peninsula Cancer Center a model of excellent service and compassionate care close to home.
