Dr. Bishnu Hari Sapkota

Dr. Bishnu H. Sapkota received his medical school education at the University of Science and Technology in Chittagong, Bangladesh and completed his neurology residency and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is an experienced and skilled neurologist who specializes in treating Epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders, headaches, Stroke, and Botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and chronic migraine. Dr. Sapkota and his wife, Sharmila, have two daughters. In his spare time he enjoys swimming, hiking, traveling and listening to music. “I was inspired to become a physician by my grandfather who was a paramedic and yet able to help so many people in need of healthcare. My treatment philosophy is “do no harm, and treat the patient not the test.”
