Dr. Bobby Niemans career led him to several places in Texas; most recently he returned to Aggieland from San Angelo to be near family. The Killeen native attended medical school in Galveston at the University of Texas Medical Branch and received a pre-medical bachelors degree from Southwest Texas State University, in San Marcos. As part of his philosophy on patient care, Dr. Nieman sees his role as one that provides as much information as possible on treatment options and expected outcome. He believes in letting patients have ownership in their course of care. Dr. Nieman and his wife are high school sweethearts and have been together for more than 40 years. Together they have two adult sons. When not seeing patients, he enjoys bass fishing, tinkering with computers, wood working and working in the yard, and playing with his granddaughter.
