Dr. Bradley David Torphy, MD

Brad Torphy, M.D. is the Medical Director of Headache Centers of America and the Managing Director of the Chicago Headache Center & Research Institute. He is actively involved in research in the field of headache medicine. He has presented research findings at numerous national and international conferences. He holds a dual baccalaureate in biology and history from Indiana University. He graduated from Xavier University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the President’s Scholarship. He served as Chief Resident at the University of Illinois – affiliated St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago. He holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Headache Medicine from the National Headache Foundation. He spent six years as a staff physician at the Diamond Headache Clinic, and he was named Physician of the Year at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL.
