Dr. Mickey is board-certified in neurological surgery and has extensive experience in the surgical management of brain and pituitary tumors, and of epilepsy. He also has many years of experience in the management of brain and pituitary tumors with Gamma Knife radiosurgery. After retiring from the full-time faculty at the UT Southwestern Medical Center, he has joined Baylor Scott & White Neurosurgery Associates to work with us as we plan the future of neurosurgery in the Baylor Scott & White system. In his spare time, Dr. Mickey enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time with his family.Dr. Mickey has been named a Texas Super Doctor every year from 2006 to 2022.
