Dr. Bryan M. Beebe, DDS

 When Bryan Beebe was 19 years old his career choice was actually made for him by the United States Navy when they made him a dental technician.  It turned out to be the perfect choice because it blended his natural artistic ability and his intense desire to “fix” things, with his passion to help people.
He recieved a BS in Chemistry from Old Domion Universty and then went on to get his DDS from the Medical College of Virginia.
Following dental school,  he  practiced  in a remote, mountainous region of Virginia for 5 long years.  These years, although sometimes  lonely and difficult ,  were ,never the less,  invaluable to both his personal and professional growth.
In 1984, Driven by a love of sailing, he moved to Annapolis Maryland where he established a thriving general practice.  There he was able to pursue his insatiable desire for continual dental education.  The high point of this education was achieving 4 Levels of Continuum at the L.D.Pankey Institute.
This need, … this strong desire that  made him want to learn from the best , led him to pursue specialty training in Endodontics from Dr. Herb Schilder ( the top endodontic educator in the world) and, later,  Dr. Gerald Bowers ( one of the top periodontic instructors in the nation).  He recieved his post Graduate Certificate in endodontics in 1993 and moved back to Annapolis Maryland. He was accepted as an Assistant Clinical Professor for both the pre and post doctoral endodontic programs at the University of Maryland where he taught 3 days a week , in addition to running a full time private practice.  During these productive years he also spent time as a periodontal resident.
In 1996, After one too many cold snowy winters, the Beebes’ pack a U-Haul and moved to sunny Sarasota.
In 1998 Dr. Beebe was asked by the New chairman of Endodontics at Boston University, Dr. Jeff Hutter, if he would serve as the Clinical Director of BU’s post graduate endodontic department.  It was an honor to give back to the University that had given him so much.
After two incredibly enjoyable years “spent with some of the best people I have ever known”, it was time to return home to beautiful Sarasota to focus on private practice and spending quality time with his family.
Dr. Beebe has numerous awards, and has been selected as one of the top dentists in America for the past 5 years by Consumers’ Research Council of America. He has lectured at national meetings and at Universities , both nationally and internationally.  He has has been on many missions for Operation Smile and was chosen by the students at the University of Maryland to be on Op Smiles first dental mission to Viet Nam.
He is an active member of the ADA, the AAE and the local societies, and holds current licences in Florida, Maryland, and Massachusettes.
