Dr. Carlyn Sue Phucas

Practicing orthodontics is a privilege and it adds richness to my life to contribute to people’s self confidence by giving them a healthy smile. It is a pleasure every day to spend my time with so many wonderful people of all ages. For the past 23 years I’ve been helping the people in my community have healthy, beautiful teeth, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Education and Experience
I love to continually learn so I can offer my patients the finest care available. I graduated cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I completed my orthodontic specialty residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
I attend a variety of continuing education courses annually to enhance my knowledge of orthodontics and oral appliance therapy. Attending these courses allows me to be informed of the latest research, products and techniques and benefit from the vast experiences of some very gifted …clinicians. I am motivated to deliver excellent care to my patients comfortably and timely as is scientifically possible.
I am also a speaker for Align Technology, the makers of Invisalign. For the last eight years, I have given presentations frequently to orthodontists and dentists across the US and Europe, showing ways to achieve excellent clinical results using the Invisalign system.
Outside the Office
My husband and I reside in Marlton with my 2 sons and his son and daughter and our 3 dogs. I treasure time and travel with my family and extended family. Cycling and interior design are also passions of mine.
