Dr. Carmen Magdalena Stanca, MD

Dr. Stanca is a transplant hepatologist specializing in the care of patients before and after liver transplantation. She is board-certified in transplant hepatology, gastroenterology and internal medicine.Dr. Stanca joins the growing team of Baylor Scott & White Health liver disease specialists from New York, where she was on the transplant hepatology staff at NYU Langone Health. Her clinical focus is on treating complications of cirrhosis, managing autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary cholangitis.Dr. Stanca will see patients at the Baylor Scott & White Liver Consultants of Texas office in Plano, on the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Plano campus. She looks forward to exploring Texas with her husband and daughter.
