Dr. Caroline Ogashi

Dr. Caroline Ogashi is a Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her training and nursing experience expands over three decades working in various nursing settings. Dr. Ogashi is compassionate and possesses great listening and caring skills that are loved by her clients. She believes in a holistic approach and holds the philosophy that the body, mind, and spirit must work together in harmony to achieve balance because a disruption in one area may cause disruption in all areas. Dr. Ogashi specializes in treating the following mental health conditions: anxiety, major depression, ADHD, OCD, panic disorder, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, insomnia, and schizophrenia. Dr. Ogashi completed her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University, Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University, Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science degree (Ph.D.) from Texas Woman’s University, and a Post-Graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse …Practitioner Certificate (PMHNP) from National University. In addition, Dr. Ogashi is also Board-Certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. She incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, faith-based therapy, and psychoeducation as part of her treatment approach. Dr. Ogashi believes that making a thorough assessment and evaluation the first time will lead to the correct diagnosis, the right treatment, and eventually better treatment outcomes.
