Dr. Chandur Piryani, MD

Chandur Piryani, MD is a double board certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist who provides comprehensive care to patients at Spine Pain Diagnostics Associates in our Mequon and South Milwaukee offices in Wisconsin. He completed his residency in clinical anesthesiology at Cook County hospital, now known as John H. Stroger, in Chicago, Illinois where he was appointed Chief Resident. Dr. Piryani was awarded the prestigious Resident of the Year honor for his dedication to the field of anesthesiology, his patients, and his fellows. He completed his fellowship training in interventional pain management at Cook County hospital. Dr. Piryani’s decision to pursue pain management was driven by his belief that no profession could be nobler in providing relief from pain and suffering.
Dr. Piryani has been practicing medicine for the past thirty years. He joined Spine Pain Diagnostics in 1999 and has provided comprehensive pain management in the Upper Peninsula of …Michigan before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2008. Due to his dedication and empathetic approach, many of his patients drive from across the region to see him. Dr. Piryani is well-liked by his patients as evidenced by glowing reviews on various online platforms such as Google, Healthgrades, and MD News. He has also received numerous awards for his work as well including the Best Physician award by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in 2019 and Top Doctors award by Milwaukee Lifestyle Magazine in 2022.
Dr. Piryani has also conducted research in the field of pain management and has presented at professional conferences in Minneapolis and Chicago. Aside from his professional career, Dr. Piryani enjoys playing tennis, ping pong, listening to music, watching football and basketball, and spending time with his wife and three children.
