Dr Charles Stockwell

Charles L. Stockwell, O.D., a third-generation optometrist, joined Texas Tech Physicians in 2010 providing routine and specialty eye and contact lens exams at the Texas Tech Eye Clinic. A licensed therapeutic optometrist, he completed his undergraduate degree and received his optometry degree from the University of Houston in 1974. He has been active in Boy Scouts, Jaycees, Lions Club, and Nursing Home Exams for the Elderly. In 1979 he was Texas Young Optometrist of the Year and in 2013 – 2014 received the Geriatric’s Teaching Scholar Grant.
