Dr. Chetanbabu Patel, MD

Chetanbabu Patel, M.D., is an experienced pediatric endocrinologist who is passionate about providing care for children challenged by chronic disease and helping them achieve strong health. He works closely with each patient’s family, giving them his undivided attention and taking the time needed to fully explain health matters and treatment options. Dr. Patel has dedicated his career to learning as much as possible about pediatric endocrine illness, and he is a devoted advocate for children and their families.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Patel has held many respected positions, including director of diabetes education at the Steele Research Center, division chief of pediatric endocrinology at Texas Tech University and assistant professor of pediatric endocrinology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Patel earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, completed a residency at Lutheran General Children’s Hospital and engaged a pediatric endocrinology …fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital. He is currently an adjunct, clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine, and also serves as core faculty.
