Dr. CHRISTOPHER FENDER, MD is a BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON specializing in HAND and MICROVASCULAR SURGERY
Dr. Fender is a reconstructive plastic surgeon. His interests include caring for patients with skin cancers, as well as large, complex wounds. He has a true passion for hand surgery and enjoys the challenge and satisfaction provided by restoring the intricate and pain-free form of the hand and wrist that is so critical in his patients’ lives.
Dr. Fender completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University. He attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry, where he went on to complete a combined residency in general and plastic surgery. He obtained additional specialty training in hand and microvascular surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. Fender served for three years as the Director of Wound Care at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 2012 he moved to Colorado …where he spent a year in private practice before establishing Precision Plastic & Hand Surgery.
