Dr. Claudia Krasnoff, MD

Claudia Krasnoff, MD, is a board-certified Obstetrics & Gynecology specialist. Dr. Krasnoff received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. She then went on to complete her internship and residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, TN. Dr. Krasnoff provides general obstetrics and gynecology services, including, but not limited to prenatal care, well woman exams, contraception (including IUDs), and menopause care. Patients can also see Dr. Krasnoff for minimally invasive surgeries, including but not limited to hysterectomy and tubal ligation. She is passionate about caring for women throughout their lives, from helping teenagers through puberty and teaching them about their menstrual cycles to guiding women through abnormal or heavy periods, pregnancies and menopause. ‘I think that education is a crucial part of my job,’ says Dr. Krasnoff. ‘Teaching my patients about what is going on with their bodies, …discussions of treatment options and involving patients in decision making are very important to me.’ For women who hope to conceive, Dr. Krasnoff serves as a resource for family planning and enjoys getting to know each of her patients personally. She provides preconception counseling and if needed, diagnosis and initial management of infertility. During pregnancy, she performs all examinations and checkups, if possible, and performs all of her own deliveries. Dr. Krasnoff’s practice is a part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group.
