Dr. Corey William Gilliland, DO

Dr. Corey Gilliland has practiced medicine for thirteen years. He began medical practice in the military under the Army’s Special Operations Command. He was trained as a Flight Surgeon and subsequently became the Battalion Surgeon for the 7th Special Forces Group. He deployed to Afghanistan shortly after 9/11 and was the field medical officer over a large task force operating in remote areas of Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. He speaks English and is fluent Spanish and Portuguese. After leaving Concentra in 2009, he spent four years in private practice in Arizona catering to the uninsured and the elderly, then later moved to Alabama and practiced primary care and occupational medicine for Northeastern Alabama Regional Medical Center.
