Dr. Nachbauer is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and has practiced thoracic and vascular surgery since 1991. He is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). Dr. Nachbauer completed thoracic surgery residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals. After a fellowship in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery at Emory University, he completed his training as Clinical Associate in Cardiothoracic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic.Nachbauer serves as Medical Director of the University of Vermont Health Network-CVPH Wound Center, in Plattsburgh, New York.
