Dr. Craig Loucks, MD, FRCSC

Craig Loucks, MD, FRCSC, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who sees patients for conditions like hip and knee arthritis, knee injuries, hip injuries, cartilage injuries, ligament injuries and osteoarthritis. Dr. Loucks provides services like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, stem cell and regenerative procedures for the hip and knee and knee arthroscopy. He has more than 20 years of experience providing world-class hip and knee reconstruction techniques and is an expert in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement.
Dr. Loucks was drawn to medicine to help others stay active and healthy and get out of pain. He believes that joint replacement surgery is one of the greatest advancements in modern medicine, and he’s passionate about seeing his patients return to their activities and lives without pain.
Dr. Loucks received his medical degree, with honors, from the University of Calgary. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of British …Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, serving as chief resident in his final year. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery as both a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Loucks is an international lecturer and proctor for advanced hip and knee reconstruction, a design surgeon for hip and knee products and techniques and a teaching surgeon for the Colorado Hip and Knee Fellowship Program. He’s a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS).
When not caring for patients, Dr. Loucks enjoys traveling internationally with his family, playing golf, exercising and skiing.
