Dr. Curtis John Schalit, MD

As a plastic surgeon, the primary focus of my practice is facial cosmetic procedures. I perform more than 400 major cosmetic surgical procedures each year including facelifts and laser surgery. I also am privileged to participate in a large number of facial trauma rejuvenation procedures each year. Our practice performs all of the facial trauma surgeries in the area and we have found the Halifax Health Medical Center surgical staff to be exceptional. My approach to treating my patients is simple; I treat them all as if they were my friends and my own family. Each year I share my knowledge about facial rejuvenation with other health care professionals through speaking engagements. One of the highlights of my year is my annual trip to the Dominican Republic with my partners, where we donate our time and talents to perform cleft lip and plastic surgery on children.
