Dr. Dean Dominy is a board-certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of the hand and upper extremity.
Dr. Dominy attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band.
Dr. Dominy earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX, and his hand and upper extremity fellowship at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.
He cares for patients of all ages with both straightforward and complex conditions. Dr. Dominy involves …patients in their own decision-making and is familiar with the latest surgical and conservative treatment options.
Dr. Dominy’s areas of interest include carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, DeQuervain’s disease, Dupuytren’s disease, trigger fingers, tendonitis, trauma, fractures, arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff repair and shoulder/elbow replacement.
