Dr. Hampton is the assistant Team Orthopedic Surgeon for the Washington Wizards and previously served as head team physician for D.C. United. He takes a collaborative approach to patient care. He specializes in sports-related injuries, but also treats general orthopedic problems. He has treated athletes at the professional, collegiate, high school, and amateur levels. Dr. Hampton treats complex problems of the shoulder, hip, and knee, performs all types of ligament reconstruction, arthroplasty of the hip, knee, and shoulder, and a complete array of arthroscopic surgeries. His special interest areas include shoulder surgery, cartilage restoration/transplant surgery, primary and revision arthroscopic surgery and minimally invasive surgery.
