Board-certified interventional pain management specialist Daniel Kline, MD, provides exceptional pain management and spine care to men and women at Integrated Spine and Pain Services in Falls Church and Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Kline graduated with a medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2008. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York City. Dr. Kline’s interest in painful conditions of the spine led him to undertake an interventional spine care fellowship at Virginia iSpine Physicians in Richmond, Virginia. During his time there, Dr. Kline was involved in clinical trials investigating innovative treatments for spinal disorders. He also co-authored three book chapters with a focus on interventional spine care. Before joining Integrated Spine and Pain Services, Dr. Kline spearheaded a hospital-based interventional …spine program. His primary interest is the use of minimally invasive image-guided procedures to treat painful spine conditions. He aims to use his expertise to improve function and reduce pain for patients who have painful spine conditions and minimize the use of medications wherever possible. The most common conditions that Dr. Kline treats include radiculopathy, sacroiliac (SI joint) pain, hip joint pain, and painful discs and facet joints in the neck and back. He’s an expert in performing image-guided procedures such as selective nerve root blocks, transforaminal epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and intra-articular SI and hip joint injections. In addition to delivering the highest standards of medical care, Dr. Kline provides a comprehensive and compassionate approach to the diagnosis and treatment of the source of pain. In this way, he restores functionality and improves the quality of life for patients with painful spine conditions.
