Board Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon
Dr. Dan Langley is an internationally recognized Board Certified Ophthalmology Fellow. He is highly skilled in a vast array of complex surgical procedures such as cataract, refractive, and oculoplastic procedures. Certified by a multiple laser platform, he performs the Blade Free/All Laser LASIK procedure and is also uniquely trained in surgical treatments for glaucoma, keratoconus, and presbyopia. Always at the forefront of innovation, Dr. Langley is the only Oklahoma FDA investigator for the new Refocus presVIEW scleral spacing procedure to treat presbyopia and is the first doctor in Eastern Oklahoma to use the Glaukos iStent and Trulign/Staar toric lenses. He is one of a few eye surgeons in the state certified to perform the Visian implantable contact lens (ICL) procedure as well as INTACS corneal implants.
Originally from Edmonds, Washington, Dr. Langley graduated Cum Laude from Washington State University where he played football and was an …active member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. In 2002, Dr. Langley graduated from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery and then completed his ophthalmology training in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During his residency Dr. Langley earned awards for excellence in refractive and cataract surgery from Triad Eye Laser Center and Oklahoma State University%u2019s Department of Surgery. Upon completion of his residency Dr. Langley also received the Lifelong Education award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association. Previously he was Assistant Professor of Surgery and Clinical Director for the Department of Ophthalmology for the OSU Medical Center where he trained ophthalmology residents. His passion for restoring eye health does not stop there, for the last 5 years Dr. Langley has been one of the lead surgeons for a medical mission trip to Piura, Peru performing hundreds of surgical procedures for the Peruvian Catholic community. He has been named Best of the Best in Ophthalmology for the last three years, and has been one of the Top 40 professionals under 40 for Oklahoma Magazine and Tulsa Business Journal.
