Dr. Dante Fiandaca, DDS

Dante Fiandaca DDS has been practicing periodontics and dental implant care in the Northwest Illinois area since 1996. Living in the Chicago area his entire life, he decided to begin his own practice in Algonquin with the purpose of providing excellent dental care while making sure each experience is a positive one for the patient.
Dr. Fiandaca received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois, graduating with top honors as well as being inducted into the honorary dental society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. During his collegiate education, he participated in a research study and subsequently became published in the Journal of Pain. Wishing to stay in Illinois, he applied for and was accepted into the post-doctoral program for periodontics study at the University of Illinois. Upon graduating and receiving his degree in periodontics, he was invited to join the university as a clinical professor. He continued to teach dental students for over seven years while maintaining a private …practice.
The fields of periodontology and dental implantology are continually advancing. Dr. Fiandaca attends many continuing education courses to hone his skills, and assimilate evidence-based techniques, procedures and equipment into his practice. In addition, he belongs to several organizations which include the:

Excellence Study Club
He is frequently asked to present lectures focusing on subjects within his field of expertise at many of these organizations. He has lectured on dental implants, sinus augmentations and cosmetic procedures; to name a few. He attends 30+ hours of continuing education each year with the purpose of remaining at the forefront of his field.
