Dr. David Duffield Hamlar, MD

Personal: As co-director of the Craniofacial Skull Base Center at the University of Minnesota we see patients with cleft lip and palate, craniofacial deformities, as well as patients with skull-based tumors. I routinely travel on humanitarian missions to the Far East, Central and South America to perform reconstructive procedures. Through my academic appointment I am able to teach our residents and medical students. Time away from medicine is spent with my wife and two children.
Military: As a member of the Minnesota Air National Guard, I am commander of the 133 Medical Group. Over the past four years I continue to deploy in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
