Getting to know Dr. David Dellinger
He was born and educated in York. He graduated from York Suburban High School and received a B.A. degree in Biology from the University of Delaware four years later. In 1973, Dr. Dellinger graduated second in his class from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) and also a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology. He was a member of the OKU dental honor society and was awarded the American College of Dentists Award.
Dr. Dellinger furthered his dental education in the Air Force after dental school by taking a Hospital Dental Residency where he gained further training in the dental specialties with emphasis in oral surgery, crowns and bridges, periodontics (gum treatment), root canal treatment, and dentures.
Dr. Dellinger has been practicing in York since 1976.
Continuing Education
Dr. Dellinger has completed an extensive three year training program in orthodontics and has …completed continuing education courses on implant dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry.
He is also a member of a study club called Dentists for Comprehensive Care and regularly takes a variety of courses to further his training and skills.
